Desert's Edge is an indie project that revolves around the shenanigans of the trio Ryder (famous bounty hunter), Mack (Desert's Edges' most wanted criminal) and Benjamin ( scammy private eye and traveling salesman). Together alongside their conflicting personalities and approaches to conflict make up a ton of entertaining situations between each other.

Our team consists of three awesome, creative pals who have a passion for telling stories and bringing characters to life through different mediums. At the moment, we run everything entirely on our own but hopefully in the near future, we will be looking into getting volunteers. We are entirely nonprofit.

Setting

Desert's Edge is a section of planets that survived a space radiation blast from an explosion of one it's brightest stars many years ago. As time went on, the residents and animal species of the planetary system dealt with the aftermath of radiation, eventually becoming immune to it. While others weren't so lucky and grew mutations or faced burn scars, the radiation isn't as harmful anymore, at least to anyone in DE.The residents of the planetary system ranges from aliens to humans to crpytids to sea creatures or anything for that matter. This is the Wild West after all. There are no set laws for the planets, only moral codes that change as you enter different communities. While most communities are safe and welcoming, beware of the others that are not.
The residents of Desert's Edge are divided into four main classes based on occupation: Bounty Hunter, Bounty, Middle Man and The Elite.

The Constellation Cowboy aka Ryder Radigan is Desert's Edges' most infamous bounty hunter; not only with having the quickest draw in the entire system but also going after high priced criminals and being successful in doing so. Outside of his usual hunting job, he's a farmer / rancher who tends to his radiated mutated animals on his ranch.Despite his demeanor being terrifying to those who don't know him well, Ryder has a kind cowboy heart and a strong sense of fairness to those who he knows whose had it rough. He is quite level-headed in most scenarios and won't hesitate to do the right thing. Even though he's well known through Desert's Edge, he's shy when it comes to being put on the spot and he sure does have a soft heart for romance.

Mack is a man with an inflated ego, cool hair and speed. He has never been caught by Bounty Hunters and he's "never" lost. He's the type to be all talk or sometimes he just resorts to bragging about how cool he is. Alongside being able to fight, he's quick on his feet and can harness electricity within his hands.He currently holds the highest priced bounty over his head in Desert's Edge, being worth 85,000 dollars alive with the price slowly getting higher. Despite his confident exterior, his genuine personality is different than what he puts out. He cares about his friends immensely and would do anything for them to the point of bordering on self sacrificing. He's a carefree idiot with psyhcological baggage.

Your Local door to door traveling salesman! You may spot him going from door to door offering you a catalogue of lamps, watches, clocks or trinkets but he never fails to give you that friendly smile and greeting. He's charismatic on the job to make deals but off the clock, he's a tired man who just really needs some good sleep.While he may get irritated, he snaps in a way of being passive aggressive or just tearing your ego down to nothing. His emotions can also range from uncaring to extreme stress. Unfortunately, his job doesn't provide enough money so when he landed into Desert's Edge, he became a conning Private Eye, selling information on bounties and hunters alike for compensation while scamming clients out of their money. He now currently has a bounty on head for 12,000 dollars.
